About the artist
I work with a range of both digital and traditional media. My main areas of focus are: character illustration, semi-realistic human and animal portraits, and layout design for printed media.
I have the most experience with acrylic and oil paints, and I believe this is reflected in the style of my digital paintings.
These days, for creating digital paintings and character illustrations, I primarily use apps on my iPad. I’m most comfortable with Adobe Fresco and ProCreate. When I use a desktop, again I’m most comfortable with the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign are my preferred programs.
My character illustrations are completed either with alcohol markers and gel pens, or with the digital art apps mentioned previously. Stylistically, I tend lean toward anime and manga for inspiration.
My graphic design interest is in layouts, especially for book jackets, infographics, and marketing materials. My strength is layouts intended or printed material.
